How to improve on your self care

Have you ever felt….. that your not good enough? want to change something about yourself? your confidence has dropped? Always talking negative to yourself or about yourself?

From my own experience and many other females (males as well) low self esteem comes from because they are not happy with their appearance, they have been told they are not good enough or always been spoken negative too.  To be honest it has taken me many many years to accept who I am as a person. I think in the last 6 months I have become more comfortable within myself and care less what other’s think of me and what I do. Especially having a young daughter, I have had to change certain things at home as she would ask questions and see her copy it. We don’t have a scale at home anymore, as I would weigh myself and she started to do the same. I don’t think she knew what she was looking at but I did not want her to become obsessive with it. 

 I believe I have changed the way I think by the people I surround myself with. If you surround yourself with people like minded it truly helps. In some situations it is hard to remove certain people from your life who cause these feelings (eg. family) but if that is the case only speak or see them necessary.

 Life in general can be stressful as it is and why would you want to be around people who make you feel horrible. 

Here are some tips I want you to think about and try and implement into your life:-

  1. be nice to yourself

  2. you do you

  3. get moving

  4. nobody’s perfect

  5. remember that everyone make mistakes

  6. focus on what you can change

  7. do what makes you happy

  8. celebrate the small stuff
